Findon Technical College
A technical college is being built at Findon High School – one of five new technical colleges across South Australia.
The new technical college will support students in years 10 to 12 to complete their SACE while undertaking vocational education and training (VET) in specialist state-of-the-art facilities. The technical college industry training programs will complement the core SACE and VET pathways offered by Findon High School.
The technical college will open in 2024.
Industry training programs and employer partners
Findon Technical College will offer industry training programs in:
- Early Childhood Education and Care
- Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
- Health and Social Support.
BAE Systems Australia has committed to being an employer partner in the delivery of the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering industry training program.
The industry focus areas are determined based on the demand for skills and the highest workforce needs along with the existing vocational education and training (VET) available to school students.
Eligibility and enrolment
The technical college will cater for around 200 full time students.
Planning is currently underway to develop the eligibility criteria and enrolment process. The technical college will accept enrolments from both public and private schools.
Building update and concepts

The design of the technical college aims to replicate the look, feel and flow of industry workplace environments, as well as create maximum flexibility for daily use of practical spaces.
