Designed for students in years 10, 11 and to 12, the hands-on industry training programs are developed and delivered in partnership with high-profile employer partners, aligned with industry needs and standards. This means that students gain real-world industry experience – all while they’re studying. 

Technical College students graduate into a career, guaranteed. They gain their SACE, VET qualifications and all the skills they need to go directly into a job, an apprenticeship, traineeship, or further study.

At Findon Technical College, students can even complete the first year of a degree at Flinders University while in year 12, fast-tracking a career as an early childhood educator, nurse, allied health professional or engineer.

Employer Partners

Advanced manufacturing and engineering industry training program

BAE Systems Australia, Liebherr and Axiom Precision Manufacturing are the employer partners for the advanced manufacturing and engineering industry training program. These companies collectively employ over 135,000 people worldwide in advanced technological solutions and provide students with a global context.

Early childhood and education training program

Goodstart Early Learning and Precious Cargo are the employer partners for the early childhood and education training program. Goodstart Early Learning is Australia’s largest provider of early learning and care, while Precious Cargo has been pivotal in delivering Montessori education across 10 different South Australian sites.

Health and social support industry training program

Aged-care specialists, Helping Hand Aged Care and Southern Cross Care, are the employer partners for the health and social support industry training program. Both organisations have been providing services which enhance the quality of life, physical and emotional wellbeing of South Australian and Australian ageing populations for over 50 years.
