Ms Kathleen Hoare, School Principal

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Findon High School. Our school focus is on guiding every young person through a broad range of learning opportunities to fully develop their skills and capabilities. We strive to ignite passion for learning, inspire academic excellence and empower our students to create their own futures. At Findon High School we value creativity, connection and community.

Students are seen as individuals with unique learning profiles who we aim to enrich and develop into creative and critical thinkers. Findon High School is committed to preparing our students for futures and careers that have not yet been created, technologies that have not yet been invented and problems that have not yet arisen. We aim to connect our students to communities and workplaces that address authentic real-world issues that matter to them and the community.

Findon High School is a student-centred school where staff build student capacity to take responsibility for their own decisions, determine their own attitudes, form their own opinions, and choose the pathway they wish to follow. All students are guided and mentored to achieve academically, and to grow emotionally, physically and socially in a happy and collaborative school community.
