Clubs & Programs
Extra-curricular programs support and enhance student learning outcomes by providing a platform to practice the skills learned at school in a real-life environment.
Our students are prepared for the world beyond school, with vocational and life-oriented skills at the forefront of projects and programs that nurture students’ capacity to look up and look out.
VEX Robotics Club
The VEX Robotics Club gives students the chance to design, build and compete with robots in the international VEX Robotics competitions.
These events combine creativity, problem-solving and teamwork. Through robotics, students build their confidence as STEM learners and gain exposure to real-world pathways in science, technology and engineering.
Ice Factor
Through the ICE Factor program, students take part in a season of ice hockey training and competition combined with tutorial-style learning.
The program builds leadership, teamwork, respect, humility and perseverance, while also contributing 10 SACE credits through its integrated learning approach.
‘I Love Coffee’
The ‘I Love Coffee’ program gives students hands-on experience in hospitality, with accredited training as Level 1 baristas.
Students put their skills into practice by serving the school community each week, gaining both SACE credits and valuable skills for future employment.
Instrumental Music Program
Students in Years 7 to 9 can take part in free small-group lessons in vocals, guitar, bass and drums.
Delivered by the Department’s Instrumental Music Service, these classes give students the chance to explore music, build confidence, and develop their creative talents.
School Sport
Participation encourages students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their successes together.
Through sports like basketball, netball, and athletics, students develop teamwork, resilience, and leadership while connecting with peers and contributing to the school community.
The MTB Project
The MTB Project is Bike SA’s hands-on mountain biking program designed for schools and camps. Students build confidence, resilience, and teamwork through progressive, skills-based riding. Fully equipped, curriculum-aligned, and delivered by qualified instructors, the program gives students skills they can use on and off the bike.
Student Clubs
Student Clubs provide a safe and supportive space for students seeking a sense of community, offering opportunities to connect and belong. For example, during break times we offer Sports Clubs, Art Club, Music Club, Esports Club, STEM Club, and Robotics Club.
