Conductive Education was founded by András Peto in Hungary and is a holistic educational approach for children and students to develop skills in all areas of life – daily living, physical, social, emotional, cognitive and communication. It is a system which integrates the learning of such skills in all activities in a unique way using group settings, the individual interests of the participants and fun as motivators to ensure involvement. The Conductor is a specially trained teacher/therapist in working with people with cerebral palsy and like conditions.
Conductive Education is conceived of as a partnership between educator and learners to create circumstances for learning- it is an all-day learning process. Conductors can be contacted at SERU by phoning: 8235 2871.
